Meditation - A Primer
I am currently enrolled in Make Art That Sells Bootcamp with Lilla Rogers and this is one of the assignments we had to work on. It goes with an article about how to meditate. I like doing these sequential pieces. This is the second one I have done recently - see my post about Why I Love Paper. This is watercolor and ink on Arches watercolor paper. Namaste.

The Great, Big, Stitched Postcard Swap
"Let's Create"
acrylic, collage, and stitching on illustration board
February 2014
Recently I participated in the great, big, stitched postcard swap with Paperlove and Do What You Love! It was sooooo much fun. I received the most beautiful postcard in the mail from my swap partner in Massachusetts. She even illustrated and stitched together the envelope! So creative. And this is the one I sent to her. What fun! I can't wait for the next swap!

MATS Week 2 - Home Decor Assignment
Make Art That Sells - Week 2
Home Decor Assignment: Design a plate using florals
Things got a bit out of hand this week, but I like the result. Who says a flower can't have a dinosaur and a high heeled shoe growing out of it! This is hand drawn, scanned into the computer, and manipulated with Photoshop and Illustrator. Hope you like it! Onto the children's book market in class next week.
